Mason and Ryan’s Vibrant Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club Wedding | Tampa, FL | Tampa Wedding Photographer

Mason reached out to me on The Knot several months ago about her Tampa and St. Petersburg wedding. We immediately hit it off and it was a true pleasure being her and Ryan’s wedding photographer. Sometimes the weddings I do are large extravagant affairs with up to 12 hours of action. Other times they are smaller and more low-key backyard events with less than 40 people. Mason’s wedding fell somewhere in-between and it was lovely! This is one of the biggest things I want to convey to all of my potential brides/couples. I do not care where your wedding is, how many people are there, etc… I am all about capturing the genuine moments and authentic love whether it’s at a castle, a barn, in a backyard, or at a country club. It’s all the same to me. So when Mason expressed that her wedding would be a bit more laid back, without having me cover her getting ready before the ceremony, I didn’t even think twice about it. My job is to serve my clients by listening to their needs, and creating images for them based on our conversations. When Mason wanted to meet up for lunch before her wedding, I happily obliged and she was kind enough to treat me to Tacos at a very authentic Mexican joint in St. Petersburg. Yum!

On the day of her wedding, Mason was absolutely perfect. She was relaxed, happy, and gave me all of the time in the world to get pictures done. At the same time, I am always hyper aware that when my couples get married, that it is THEIR WEDDING DAY, and not just my photo shoot. So we were able to get everything done really quickly. The light/weather played along nicely (thank you mother nature) and we were all treated to a perfect sunset. The Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club was super accommodating by letting us use a golf cart to traverse the grounds so we could find the perfect spots for photography. Mason warned me that Ryan might be a little bit shy about having his photo taken, but he was a great sport about it all and even cracked a couple of his own jokes. I’m not sure everything he said to Mason was rated PG, but he certainly made her laugh, which is ALL I ASK FOR when it comes to photos. Two people in love, being silly, and enjoying themselves in front of my lens. Thank you Mason and Ryan for being a friendly, accommodating, and easy-going couple that made my job a breeze.
